This place was the home of our friend Simon who moved from Berlin to Rio about one year ago. It is located in the hills of Santa Teresa. The view from the garden is phenomenal.

The garden was full of plenty different palm trees and you had to watch your head because mangos from an old, enormous mango tree could fall on your head any time. From time to time monkeys came by to pick up some mangos. It truly felt like a little piece of paradise, in the middle of a metropolis. The furnishing was minimalistic and Brazilian vintage from all over the county. I count this place to one of the most beautiful homes I have seen, thats why I had to ask Simon if I can take photos of it for our first personal HOME ISSUE – Rio.
