WHY MIGHT YOU WANT TO BUY EVERYTHING FROM CÉLINE RESORT 2018?
Fashion world & especially fans of the French fashion house Céline are speculating if Phoebe Philo, the creative director, will leave its walls at the end of the year. Meanwhile, the British designer has been continuing to show collections which makes you want to buy every single piece.
How does she do it every time and why are we all in love.
So be careful & watch your budget, you could really get into the trap of overspending.
Phoebe Philo is a woman who once told US Vogue, that the most luxurious thing ever would be that you do not exist on google. Very strong position, considering our world of social media.
She was also the first who put an 80-years old Joan Didion on the most prominent image of the Céline campaign.
Philo started the “ugly” shoe trend before fur lined slipper by Gucci & crogs by Christopher Kane. Thank her we are all wearing Birkenstock inspired sandals, slip-ons with a thick white sole, babouche slippers & V-neck pumps redesigned by other high end & high street brands.
And it was just to name a few facts, about the world of Céline recreated by her.
In Resort 2018 she played her favorite card – minimalism and contrasts. Phoebe Philo skillfully contrasted the original masculine cut of outer clothing with seductive lingerie-dresses made of silk and lace. Furthermore, he added classical character with abstract prints to classic woolen turtle neck.
Phoebe Philo proved again that she is the master of creation of not boring clothes for every day. In her new collection she showed a couple of trouser suits – universal and clear, which will surely last for not only one year. And for hunters of unusual things, she created a stiff skirt with sharp corners and large pockets, as well as a fluffy coat resembling a cloud with knitted details.
Once again she demonstrated that balance is the main thing, both in life and work.
It’s all personal.
